On November 11, 1926, Route 66 was officially named a federal highway! 100 years later, we are excited to present our latest exhibition, Route 66 @ 100 in North Lawndale! This new installation at the Central Park Pink Line station explores the past, present, and future of Ogden Avenue - our own historic Route 66 - from its days as "Motor Row" to its current position as a thriving corridor for health, recreation, arts, and education.
Join us for photos, video, games, merchandise, books, resources, and tours of Route 66! The installation will be open starting at 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and then every Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 - 7:00 and Saturdays from noon to 4:00 p.m.
