    TRAP FUTURISM

Trapfuturism is a term I coined in October of 2019 for a brand identity assignment in my typography class.

It’s a concept, a lifestyle, a movement, for Black people in the hood to see themselves in the future, as royalty and worthy of nothing but the best despite any opposing forces.

    BARBER ART

BARBER ART chronicles the childlike curiosity of envisioning and building your own worlds. As with the art technique of barbering, imagination and serenity are imbued throughout Price’s work as an invitation for viewers to explore their own world building capacities. Price utilizes sketch drawings, multimedia assemblage, and handcrafted small sculptures creating a “collectors room” of artifacts from futures past.
